Canon sd1000. Got it for my wife for her birthday and we both
love it. Very good quality and pretty tiny. I actually keep it in a
bag that some old Nokia came in.
Any thoughts as to which will take better macro shots? I use my
phone for most 'life' pictures, but have to have a digicam for
blogging (mostly for reviews, and also for a new project coming
soon.)
the SD requirement is cause I've got ~4-5 microSD's of various
sizes laying around. It'd be cool to pop it out of the camera and
into my N95/N810 to upload.
Settled up with the Panasonic Lumix FS3 in silver. I tested
several at Best Buy and this was the one with the best price,
fastest photo processing time, and features.

+1 on the SD1000. Or, for a little more, the SD1100 adds image stabilization.

I chose the SD750 because of the $200 limitation, but now I see the SD1000 is within that price range. Yes the SD1000 is a nice camera.

@jamesburland recommended the Kodak V1253 when I was looking for a point and shoot. This one got a 3.1in display and HD video for sub $200.
